Environmental Survey Request - $25 Fee

This is an online form. You can easily complete the form from any desktop computer, tablet or mobile device and submit it online. You will automatically receive a confirmation of receipt. If there are attachments or you still need to print the form, you can do so online as well. If you have questions or requests, don't hesitate to let us know.

2. You must follow compliance rules

   The environmental survey form is used to research properties for above ground and underground storage tank permits, including installation and removal of tanks, hazardous material spills/leaks that may have occurred on or near the property, or records of fire code violations.

3. Contact City Fire offices if your address is located in City limits.

   For properties located inside the City limits of Kannapolis, Concord or Harrisburg, you will need to contact their respective Fire offices. You will need to contact Cabarrus County Planning at 704-920-2141 for information on building permit or zoning violations.

4. Select payment option

   The completed application requires a $25.00 fee. If you select credit card as your payment option, the Fire Marshal’s office will contact you for that payment. Otherwise, you can mail your payment to Fire Services, PO Box 707, Concord, NC 28026 or come to the Fire Marshal Office, 30 Corban Ave SE Suite 601, Concord, NC 28025 to deliver in person. Make checks payable to “Cabarrus County Fire Marshal’s office.”

5. An inspection will be scheduled after payment has been received

The completed application and $25 fee may be mailed or delivered to our office along with a check for the appropriate amount made payable to “Cabarrus County Fire Marshal’s Office.” Applicants wishing to submit their payment via credit card must select that option on their completed application and our office will contact you at the number provided.
